Joy

 For the joy of the Lord is your strength

Nehemiah 8:10

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart

Psalm 32:11 

Do you feel the joy of the Lord today? Has your heart been lifted by the thought of God's glory, His mercy and goodness? Often, in spiritual conversation, we talk of our trials and woes. We lament the difficulty of Christian life and the uncertainty of the world around us. But, be GLAD in the Lord, ye righteous!! Shout for joy, ALL ye that are upright in heart. 

The last few years, the world around us has been filled with uncertainty, wickedness, and disaster. Our hearts lurch with fear as we think of the world's decline and it's outright sin. We often discuss the problems as if there is a chance that will help. We can all be assured that we are on common ground. The world is wicked, but heaven is waiting! We are just strangers passing through, and there is so much more waiting for us. Praise God that we can live in the joy of our Lord. We can shout for joy in a wicked world with the sweet assurance that we are strangers here, and we are just passing through.
